I found an old John Deere 2 bottom one way plow the serial # is NC202-l. Does anyone know anything about it and how old it is and if there are parts available for it? Would appreciate any info anyone can give. Thanks, Frank

Frank, I'm sorry I've not been able to reference any of those numbers. Try writing the Mr. Thinker column in Green Magazine. They frenquently ID this sort of thing. Their address is: 2652 Davey Rd., Bee, Ne 68314. Fax 402-643-3912.

Thanks Okie for the comeback, This is a trailer plow, it is rope trip. The number nc202-1 is located on the beam of plow in paint, rear lt. and rt. beam has John Deere in paint. The gear box has a casting #G789A on it. The plow was moved before I could get back to look at it again but I had written down these other numbers but was in a hurry when I did and don't remember exactly where each one was located. Those number are 26707, GP234L,
7403, 972, V270A. I know where the plow is but it will be a while before I can get to it to really give anymore information. Hopefully some of the above numbers will be helpful in ageing this plow. Thanks again for any info. Frank

Frank, can you give us a little more info. on your plow? Is it a pull type?
Is it rope trip or hydralic? these plows were not serialized, where on the plow did you find those numbers?
Tell us what numbers are stamped into the top of each plow beam.
