I recently purchased a small farm that had a NI 351B PTO driven manure spreader left behind. Can anyone tell me what year this may have been made and where I might be able to get some information such as an operators manual or color information? I would like to get it up and running and restored. I would also like to know what horsepower I will need to operate. I have a 47 8N and a 51 Ferguson TO20 and not sure if they are big enough.

Thanks for your help and Happy Holidays,

Mike

Manual says you should have a minimum of 50 HP. for safe operation and optimum performance under normal conditions. Capacity loaded to level of flareboard = 99 cubic ft.,loaded to 15in. above single beater = 185 cubic ft.,loaded to 15in. above "optional" upper beater = 223 cubic ft. If you found the ID tag to get the year you need the lot number. From the parts manual it looks like the lot number is going to be #797, that would be 1984. As far as color you have Bittersweet ?, Buff ? and Flat Black. I got part numbers, but I don't know what colors they are other than what I told ya.
