Has anyone saved some Sears Roebuck farm implements? Dad had a rubber tired side delivery rake and a manure spreader that served us well. My brother still has the spreader, but the rake may have gone to the scrap.

I have a Sears truck hoist that is still used. It
will dump 300 bu. of wheat. Has a large Brass tag
that reads - Sears 1954. Use only 80-90 wt. gear
oil. I have used this truck and hoist for 20 years
with no problems. Just bought a Very nice Sears
loader to go on my Moline UTU. I will use it at
the local Steam & Gas Engine Show.

I remember those catalogs - they all ended up in the outhouse at our farm.

Is the tractor radio a Farm Master? I have one of these from the early 50's and have been looking for information on it. I'm trying to figure out how to mount it on my MM UTU.

Back in the early 50's/60's we had a 3-14 plow and a flare box which was bought new. That was a really good plow. I think they built good stuff.

I have 2 Sears Roebuck running gears.
My grandpa bought one of them new in 1961
I bought the other one used about 15 years ago.
I know someone that has a Hammer Mill.

It was made by David Bradley and sold by Sears Roebuck. They made some good stuff for the price.

I was at an estate auction about 3 weeks ago and there were some Sears implements for sale...only one I remember for sure was a cultivator, 'cuz it was identical to my old Ford. That was the first Sears machinery I'd ever seen. Was an interesting auction because *everything* went for about 2 or 3 times its value, and for no apparent reason. Most of the implements were in really bad shape, too.
