Would like to hear from anyone who has or has used the MF175 Rapid Coupler. It looks like a great way to attach things like disc, blade, etc. I thinking seriously about gettin' me one, but not until I talk to someone who's used one before. Lynch

Lynch,I was at a slavage yard in IA last week and they had them piled up like cord wood. I would hate to pay truck freight on one.I checked my TSC catalog, catI $169.99, catII $239.99, hd cat II $299.99 ,or just buy an IH with a fast hitch. HA HA kjm

3 pt rapid couplers are great. One thing about tractors sensing the draft off the top link like massey ferguson. When pulling a semi-mounted plow you have to have some way to get that top link to work. Ther are a few couplers that will do this by pinning the lower arms just above the jaws of the coupler. Massey Ferguson plows had a frame so you would connect the top link and it sensed the draft. The only time this is a proplem is when pulling another brand of semi-mounted plow.

Is that just a quick hitch like most farm supply outfits & dealers sell? You back up, raise, & the upper link is caught in a V, the lower links are caught in a U with a little lever lock?

If all your machinery is the same width in the 3-point arms, and all have the same hieght from the lower to upper point, they work pretty good. Lots of times implements vary a little, messing it all up. You need to put adaptors on the lower pins on each of your implements.

But I don't know nothing about MF, so not sure if that is what you are talking about.
