I have an IH 816 mower conditioner the rubber roll is bad in a short section of it.Is there anywhere to obtain new rubber disks for this or perhaps another roll from another model that will interchange?
Thanks You
Terrance

terrance if this is a machine you have used and it works then try your case dealer if this is somthing you just got be warned I have 2 of these and both of them have what i would consider a fatel flaw in the way that they attached the sickle to the gearbox they break off the sickle bar at the end of the drive link they will also break out the outboard drive roll pivot good luck mike

I have tried the local Case IH dealer>His reply is that he can not get the replacement disks for the roll anymore.I lent this mower to a friend and he didnt stop when he plugged it up and burnt the end of the rubber roll down to metal for about 12",making it useless,otherwise this mower works beautifully for me and always has.I know that it does have its weaknessess but so far with the limited amount of use it gets It should have a long life if I can find parts for it.
Thanks Terrance

Mike;
Thanks for the help on this.Do you know if any other IH conditioners used the same rubber sections on the rolls? It may be possible to find a scraped out one behind some barn around here,and salvage enough sections to fix mine.
Thank You Terrance
