I discovered an old hay wagon on some property I purchased this summer. It has been badly burned (made mostly of wood). However all the metal parts seem to be there. I would like to replace the wooden parts, but I am not sure how they all go togather. It has a wooden tongue that connects to swiveling front end (cast iron). The front and rear axles have a single cast iron assembly with a leaf spring.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Do you have any oictures you could share to help in the reassemby?

You might want to look closely at that hay wagon to see just how badly it was burned up prior to putting another bed on it. The heat may have weakened the strength of the steel. Sorry but that type of running gear doesn't sound familiar so I couldn't help you with the maker. Where 'bouts in Texas is your property at? Home is about 20 miles North East of Waco.
