With the recent passing of my father-in-law, I am trying to help my mother-in-law clean out the barn. Most of the equipment I have a good idea of the value, but this old combine has me stumped. It is in very good condition, has been shedded most of its life. Also has original manual. It is just northeast of the greater kansns city area. Any input would be appreciated.

$300-$500 in this market, central KY (we have a pretty high demand for pull types). Upper end would be with corn (if available)and grain heads, field ready.

If not in really good shape, scrap iron price ($20-$50).

If it isn't in the best of shape, don't just let it get cut up, though. There are people on this site and elsewhere who are looking for parts for their old #30s from time to time. Just a few good parts from an otherwise beat machine can be worth $200 or more than scrap value.

In MN these combine are lucky to bring a 100.00 dollars better off parting it out,or finding a collector who appreciates the older machines.
