What tractor do you have? Why do you think you need the weight (what do you do, loader, mower, plowing, ...)

My big tillage tractor has inside cast weights, because of the duals, but as the other message said, putting the weight on the inside defeats the point of using cast iron, and is not normally done on a single wheel dished rim. You might have to look some to find a weight that would work that way! All depends on your tractor & your needs of course.

Of my 6 tractors among them, I have fluid in the rears, fluid in all 4, cast on the inner rears, homemade cement rears plus a hitch bracket to add another 500lbs, and no weight at all. Depends on what the tractor does. When dad had the Oliver 88, he had up to 600 lbs of homemade cement wheel weights for plowing, to none on for mowing with the sickle bar. Dad made some really nifty cement weights, look pro! So yea, there is some experience with weights. :)

I have 1952 Ford 8N In show shape. I'm not ever going to show it. But at the same time I want to keep it in great shape. It will be doing a lot of Box plowing to level out 12 Acres.(6ftBox) It will be doing some snow removel with a 6ft. Blade. I don't want to add fluids to the tires if I do
n't have to. Again thank you.

Yea, you'll want some weight. I'm not so familiar with the N series, but I'm sure all kinds of weights are available. The folks on the N forum here will know.

Is there a particular reason you want inside weights? Most of the time they are bolted on the outside dish of the rim. Just curious.

Advantage of wheel weights ia that you can remove when you need. Putting them on inside the wheels pretty much defeats the purpose, as you'll have to remove the weighted wheels to get 'em off! Depending on your tractor, many wheels are reversable, and wheel weights could be put on inside, or outside, depending on clearances. Yes, in difficult conditions, wheel weights or ballasting can make a tremendous difference in the tractor's traction.
