I was previously calling this a 475, but thats because I had the numbers screwed up in my head. It's really a #456. Anybody familier with this set up? It's a pull type 7' sickle bar and a conditioner that are pulled in tandem. I was wondering if they work with a fair amount of success. I have an opportunity to buy the combo
cheap and was wonder the pros and cons. Email me directly and let me know. ALSO, could use a MANUAL OR PARTS BOOK if you have one

The 456 is the pull type mower version of the
450/451 3ph mower. The condtioner is added on.
If you don't want to condtion the hay and just mow it, remove the condtioner and use it as a regular mower, and if you can buy it cheap go for it. A new NH 451 mowing machine is about 3300 dollars. If you want to condtion your hay I
would suggest a haybine it will be easier than
a continuous clogged up condtioner.

The farmers in my area who used them morph "mower-crusher" into "mower-cusser" when referring to them . . . .
