Been out of pocket and missed the post on rollovers on last Tue. the 2nd.
We lost a custom hay baler in a tractor flip-over this past week. The fellow was loading his
big Oliver on a flat bed trailer when it flip over backwards an killed him.
Gentlemen be sure to block up the back end of ya''lls trailers. This man WAS NOT a novice
at tractor work.
Just a reminder that there is a new Widow and Fatherless children Here in Central Texas this week!!!!! !
BE CAREFUL out there

We lost a older (in his 70's) farmer here in central Michigan coupla weeks back. Was driving down the road, and apparently drifted too far towards the shoulder. Rolled it in the ditch.

In a similar vein this week,a neighbour nearly lost a finger that was caught between a belt and pulley on his combine. Had to cut the belt with a pocket knife opened with his teeth in order to free himself. Very lucky fellow, might get away with skin grafting.

Sorry to hear about this unfortunate accident. I lived in Central Texas for many years prior to joing up, and plan to return back there when my contract is up. If all goes as planned (very seldom does anything else go that way) I have only three more years left to retirement. You mentioned the trailer and the Oliver tractor. I knew of a few people that did and still do custom harvesting in the Central Texas region, some even travel further out of this area. I hope and pray that it isn't one of the people that I knew. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family.

A man was killed in New York this week, Rear Rollover, also a fella I work with was brush hogging a ditch. He got his 8N stuck and tried to tow it out with Farmall M. The chain was hooked high and the M came over. He did not die because the M landed on the hood of the 8n. He was seriously hurt, Fractured skull broken arm,and crushed chest. It only takes .75 second sto reach the point of no return, not enough time to even pray.

It's sad to hear about these accidents. I hope the person that survived the M rollover will heal up real soon.
