I have a Shawnee implement,,,not sure what to call it,, its like the bucket on a tractor, but it is in a frame with tires on it, a hyd cylinder tips it so it can be filled with dirt, then dumps it when you are ready...It works like a scraper,,anyone know of this company or what the implement would be called? I will try to get some photos of it,,,Jim

I think they made backhoes and other utilty equipment back in the 40s till the 60s. What you have is a towed scraper often called a Scoop or a pan. I have a freind that has one thats a 1 and a half yard capacity. Tournapulls where made by R.G. LeTourneau, and where crawler pulled or self propels scrapers made by him, later became part of WABCO. I think Soil Mover brand bought out the Shawnee Pans. Theres a few sold here at the JD dealer. Can you send a picture to [email protected]

Around here some folks used to call them things a *fresno* and some folks called them a *turnapull*

I never did know why they called it either, cause it aint neither one. Most of them had a manual tripped load and dump system. That one of yers being hydraulic must be a fairly new model. Maybe even a late 50's early 60's model.
