If it is in good shape, it should do a good job, the front two wheels seem to be crooked on ours and won't pick up a rained down in the stubble windrow. The back ones will pick it up just fine. You may have to slide your tractor hitch one way or another to keep your tires from running a windrow down (assuming hay was cut with a haybine). If Possible try not to drive where the windrow will end up, if it stays in the stubble it will dry better. Unless it was taken apart for shipping it should be set were the previous owner used it and should work for you.

It is getting hard to find them in good shape as the wheels are wore out in most of them and cost $$$$ to replace. My parents saw a good one at a auction last week that went for $250, wish I had been there.

Good Luck
