I found a 2 bottom Dearborn Plow near Seattle that had both coulter assemblies missing and they wanted $175 for it as is. The points weren't very good either. One of the mold boards was broken and welded. The top link mount was abused. So, I feel that's too much money for me. That's why the plow is still there.

Check with your nearest Ford NewHolland dealer about replacement parts. See how much you'd have to invest. I think that information might help you decide what you think the basic plow is worth to you and might help you reach a reasonable price with the seller when you share the part cost information with him. I doubt that you will be able to find good used parts anywhere. So new parts are your only hope. I went through a great deal of trouble to buy a new share for my Ferguson 1 bottom plow. It took about 8 months to get a new one manufactured and $75. It was a special order etc. and was dependant on a very good and understanding salesman/distributor to go to the trouble to help me.

I sure hope you had 2 made, or you'll go through it all again. Might have been cheaper to get a couple made, once they have the pattern set up....

Is the whole coulter assembly missing, or just the blade? If the whole thing is missing, it'll cost you $150 or more to replace it. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for a plow like that, but then that's me . . . .
