What plow have I got?

I just got a plow that has been in a barn since the middle '50's. It has no paint left so I can't identify that way. It is a 2 bottom "trip" plow. It is on rubber tires but with spoke rims. The rear wheel is steel and is stationary, it doesn't go up or down when the plow trips. It is bolted to the frame. The hitch is kinda like an old military pintle hook and has two springs on the upper and lower jaws. Some parts have the word "Canada" stamped in them while others have it in raised relief. It has the two adjustment levers and the "trip" mechanism is on the left (looking at it from the rear) side. You can see the "ghost" of paint printing on the moldboards that looks like "14 in" with a round logo to the left of it. On the right side frame (looking at it from the rear) there is the "ghost" of paint printing stating "PAT PEND." Every thing appears to be operational. I don't have a clue as to what I have. I paid $50.00 for the plow and set of cultivators so whatever it is I don't think I got hurt on the deal. Can anyone help me out with the identification?

lthough I dont know if JD made any plows in Canada, I am pretty sure JD is the only one who made tthe tail wheel stationary so that it could not go up or down, nor side to side

A picture would make it easier, but I know that's not always possible. It seems to me that the most common Canadian plow make is Cockshutt. I'd start a search with that.
