IH Paint for implements

Where can you find the IH Blue for their implements. Does anyone have a specific color or formula for this color. I tried Ford Blue, but it is not too close. The IH dealer here in MN said they don't make it anymore. I would appreciate any input.

There is an article on paint codes in the most recent issue of Red Power. It identifies the paint codes for all the IH colors. Harvester blue is DuPont 24160. A good paint store can mix their own brand to match the Dupont number if they don't handle it.

How much do you need?

The local farm supply store used to carry it in spray cans. I bought a couple when I was restoring a cultivator, but the project has been on hold for some time. I can track down the brand of the paint. They sell most of their paints in spray cans or quarts.

You might also check with an auto paint store. The local one here will mix up any color you want. They have books that list the colors for many, many implement brands. Could be costly though for small amounts of paint.
