Please,help
I have oportunity to puchase Woods rotary cutter MD 160-1
Is it too heavy/big for 40HP tractor ? (Oliver 550)

The MD 160 is an older design Woods rotary cutter that has a 60" cut and a gear box rated for 85 HP. Woods rated it for tractors from 20 to 60 HP, and the cutter weighs just under 700 pounds. It should make a good cutter for a Oliver 550. The drive line slip clutch was optional, and if it was me, i'd buy and install one if it doesn't already have it. Robert
