Does anyone have a manual of any type on a J.D. #42 2 btm. drag plow?

Mike, I am not familiar with a John Deere Plow designated as a #42, if you mean a #44 which is a popular 2 bottom trailer plow, the manual is plentiful at swap meets and literature dealers or from John Deere publications. The original 44 operators manual came in several versions as the plow was updated, the book was too. the date in the number code gives a clue, But most info would be helpful in any edition. A parts catalog reprint will cover all of them. If You're sure 42 is the correct number please email me with any more info you have. Bob

Are you sure it is 42 and not 52. 52 was steel wheel clutch lift, 44 avaible with either steel wheel or rubber and clutch or hydrolic lift, 40 was older model Fordson Tractor plow

Try John Deere. If out of stock, try the John Deere clubs. Someone will have on you can copy.
