We have a JD Model R manure spreader in great shape. I would like to give it a fresh coat of paint. I was wondering if decals for these mid fifty implements are still available or if reproductions are being made. It only has one or two decals on it and the John Deere name is just painted on in block letters on the wooden sides.
Thanks for the help.

I have used Jorde's decals for implements. He provides kits for all the tractor models, but over the phone discussions he offers certain decals from those kits for implements. I get the impression he does this alot. I have been very pleased with the outcome. I did a model H spreader three years back and using tractor decals from the same period, you can't tell the difference when compared with a photo taken back then.

I think K & K Antique tractors have them.

They have really good decals! I got some from them for my 4020 there the best.
