I am running a 14-80 - mid 50's? - PTO driven. Works realy good. Only problems I had so far is learning that these old bailers do not and can not be operated like the newer ones. You run it up on a full 540 pto speed and she never work right. You will have to start slow and find the right combination ground speed and pto speed. In my case its 1st gear at 900-1100 rpm. (53 NAA) As for parts, not really sure. So far I have been able to get everthing I needed. But then again it really has given me any trouble. The pick up teeth can be found at a NH dealer, just take an old one with you so they can match it up. Knives are a little harder to get, had to order from an old stock dealer. (50$ each). I got really luck when I got this baler. I knew nothing and really didn't expect much out of it for a 100$. (More learning than baling) But boy was I suprised, this old thing just keeps going and going, and I only have 250$ in it.

Red???? Thought they all were blue. It is not a "New Holland" baler is it?

Model number in any case would help a lot, different models, different answers.... ;)
