I have a Case/David Brown 1410 tractor, last year during the winter when I tried to start the thing it started but went to wide open throttle, I tried shutting it down but couldn't, (in hind site I could have blocked the intake), in anycase when I finally did get it to idle down it now has a knock. It only ran for about a minute but being the winter - any suggestions as to what the knock could be? I'm thinking bearings and hoping rod bearings as I could possible replace them from underneath. Also what would have caused the thing to go to wide open throttle like that?? Thanks.
