I came across a 467 conditioner today that looks to be in real shape. I know it''s an older model, but this one appears to be a gem for it's age. The rolls are in excellent shape, not wore at all, and minimal cracks.

The worse thing about it is that they're asking $1500 for it which I feel is little much for a machine this old. What, if anything is bad about this machine?

It'll only be used to cut about 15 acres of clover and some stemmy hay 2 or 3 times a year, so it won't be used all that much. Thanks.

Casey

I sold the 467 i had this spring. I got $1000 for it. I know of a really nice one, they where trying to get $2500. I think that was way to much.

New Holland no longer has the rollers and shafts for that machine.

Check bearings on the rollers.(bearings go bad and spin on shaft ruining roller) Check wobble shaft and bolt connector to sickle bar. There is a wire rope fixture that will rot out underneath; it is required to tension the rollers. Look for rusted out sections in the frame. Machine better be almost new in condition for premium $$.
