I bought one of them New Idea pull type mowers new back in the late 50's, didn't like it then and still don't. Beast to back up as doesn't trail true, impossible to mow under fence rows, still sits on fence row' haven't used it for years. Semi mount mower, much better. jimg

I had a simi mount when I started farming. I think it was my second, or first mower. I either followed it by a IHC #27 (if I remember right , or had it before. I dont remember why I got rid of the 27, but I did. Ido remember I hated the NI simi as it was to heavy to mount. I cant remember what I had next, but it might have been a horse mower. Ive got a horse mower now MH in good condition which I used up till bout 5 yrs ago. Iver also got another #27 IHC which I use mostly, and the NI. 1/2 the people here in Okla use pll type mowers. I wanted it as it is rope trip and I could use it either on my CC Case & F-30 Farmall
