Is it possible to glue rollers on a MoCo

I have a JD 1207 that cuts great. It was stored for years such that the sun baked one spot on the rollers and has caused some cracking in the rubber. It has not fallen apart but there are some small places that are starting to peel back. My question is, can you get a good 2 part epoxy and glue these things down to prevent it from coming further part.

Has anyone ever tried this?

I glued some down on my 1209 3 years ago. I forget which epoxy I actually used, but 200 acres later and it's still holding. I am going to attempt to replace a missing chunk on a chevron(darn rocks) by using some rubber compound that was designed to repair ripped lugs on rear tractor tires. I'll let you know if it works.

Well we are going to try it. The rollers are still complete so I am going to start trying before something blows up. Thanks for the info

I had a piece break loose from one roller on my New Holland 479 last year. After emergency surgery (with jacknife) to remove the flap so I could finish cutting, I used JB Weld to reattach the 3"x8" piece of rubber. I don't know how long it will last but I have cut at least 30 acres and it is still in place.
