mower to keep it from plugging up?

are you plugging up at the end of the bar? if you replace the end knife section with a double knife section it will help.they will plug up if your bar is rusty,or if you try cutting thru already cut hay. lots of other reasons also. keep it sharp all rock gaurds and knife sections tight good luck----pappy

You might find a manual on e-bay I have got some for my old equipment cheap on there. Where are located? If you are near N.E. Tx you might get a spot in "Brother Johnny's Sickle Mower Setup and Operation Coarse" located in my back hay meadow about every four weeks. Some suggestions: keep a sharp sickle, keep hold downs down tight, keep wear plates adjusted, replace damaged or worn guards and operate at a fairly fast ground speed.
