Does anyone have a list to identify the year of a John Deere 14T baler? My grandpa's is #29924, and I plan on pulling it behind his JD B in the July 4th parade. It would be nice to know the year it was made.

Thanks,
Brandon

I have a 14T as well, Mine was made in 1956, I just finished putting up @ 1000 bales this summer on our first cutting, never thought of pulling it in a parade, its still going strong!

We used it every year until maybe 5 or so years ago. It began to be a hassle to keep it going, not tying, and going through plenty of shear pins. In defense of the baler, I'll say that my grandpa's maintenance isn't exactly great.

He just got a replacement square baler this year, so he won't be using the 14T anymore. I figure that is a good excuse to put it in a parade!

Looking at old Green Mags. the 14T was made from 1954 through 1960 as far as I can tell.

Thanks Fudd, but I was wondering if someone could come up with a specific year. I think 14T production stopped in 1961, because it was replaced in 1962 by the 24T baler.
