Sir, please don't give the good people of Tennessee a black eye by openly violating the no ad rules on this forum. Most of us appreciate this board and Kim's efforts to provide it for us to exchange ideas and great information. There is a place to purchase ad space. Let's abide by the rules.

Whats the difference of this man putting up a post like this with his link in it, then when someone puts the link up at the end of there post saying that they got this mower or this from this site and they post it. Sure this guy just came right out and advertised for this link, all the other people just post the link and the bottom of there post(isnt this advertising too) I think if one person shouldnt be able to post a link about an online ag equipment dealer, then no one else should either.

Very Simple. At the top of the forum's opening page is the following statement:

Implement Alley Discussion Board This is a moderated discussion board. No Advertising of any kind is allowed here. This includes For-Sale and Wanted-To-Buy items. Use the classified ads page for these.

This man posted an unsolicited ad in response to no one or any request for information. The scenario you are discussing is of an individual providing information in response a question posed by another individual. It is alot different stating "I found XXX at YYY for this price" than stating "My Business will sell you a container load of XXX's if you have the money"
