Could anyone tell me a lil about the Massey Ferguson 725 haybine. Iam seriously looking at one at the local dealership, and just wondering if there was a bad rap for these machines or anything i should know before making and offer.

Thanks

By the way iam only looking for one becasue my neighbor ran a fence post through my hesston pt10. dealer said it would be cheaper to buy a haybine then replace, and according to a $3000 estimate its true.

If it is in good shape buy it.I have one and it mowes great.Make sure the cutter bar is in good shape a new one cost about 320.00.You have to buy the cutter bar and pitman connection together. The pitman connection connection is about half the cost.Hope this is of some help.
