You can get ahold of any you want, they're all in the same condition, you're haying several properties of between 5 and 20 acres, which one would you choose?

I would go with a 273 NH baler if possible.they can be bought for anywhwere from about $1200 to $2000 and are reliable.grandpa had a 273 and worked very well on his 125 acre farm until he retired.my neighbor who farms about 50 acres has an older 273 and it works good also.Almost any new holland baler is good because parts for them are easy to find.

Try to stay away from the dealers on this one , around here a baler you can buy from a individual for $1000 -$1500 the dealer is sellin for $2500 . The New Holland is about the most popular and user friendly and parts are there for them .

I would find a NH Super 269, with the supersweep pickup on it. You could then take the amount you have left over and spend it on a nice hayrack ;-)
You might be able to buy a NH 311 for that much, but they seem to go higher around here.
