I got this flail mower with a 9N I bought. There is not any identification tags on it. The gear box has Warner Auburn Ind, WA48-01A cast into the input cover. Anyone know what make and model it is.
Thanks Dave <*)))><

It looks like a Mott to me. Flails should be easy to find for it. I believe that Alamo owns Mott now. I actually have 2 Mott mowers. The first one has this style of gearbox, but vibrates badly, as the cuttershaft is bent (I only spent $100 on it at an auction). The second one I bought is newer and has a square gearbox, but works fine. I've been using the older one as a parts machine - it has a lot of flails to scavenge ... I'm not sure what the model number would be.
