Need advice--I broke part of the mainframe at the flywheel shield on my mower. Man, am I upset. Anyway, the metal looks to be cast iron. It can be welded, but does anyone have any suggestions? Does anyone know of a source for used/new main frame? The local dealer says the frame is not available. Thanks, Michael

I never heard of a #4 mower. Is it a tractor mower or horse? My dad had a 1/2dz #5 mowers, but I never heard of a #4. You might call B W Macknair at 1 717 543 5136. Tell them Bill Christopher in Okla sent ya. Good luck

Michael,

I know of a source here in Wisconsin. He is old order Amish so he requested I don't give his address over the internet. He DID say I could give it out by snail mail if anyone was interested.

Drop me a line if you are.

My 2 bits worth,

Old Iron
