Woods mowers vs. others?

I have a 1940 AC model B tractor that I would like to use to mow my 3 acre lawn, some of it is rough. I have been looking at belly mowers and pull-behinds. Locally, two brands dominate the market: Woods and King Kutter. Is there something specific about either one that makes it better than the other? I would consider a pull-behind; my thinking is that the rear discharge is better. any opinions? The Woods dealer recommended a 5 foot belly mower, saying 6 foot was probably too much for this tractor. I don't want to tear my tractor up, and I'd like to mow in 2nd gear. Anybody out there with a recommendation about the size?
Jim (whose lawn is growing while he shops....)

We have Woods and Progressive at the farm but I bought a 6' King Kutter pull behind for my house. I pull it with a 26hp rice burner 2 cylinder and it does a fine job.

It was also about $400 cheaper than the Woods.

Go with a 5', it's a better match to power of the AC. Belly mowers tend to follow the contours of the land a little better that rears, but they're harder to mount/remove. I run a 5' Woods rear mount on my 8N, easy to remove when I want to use another implement, cuts good in 2nd gear all day long. The Woods is built like a tank, I recommend them, but I have no experience with the King Kutter.

you must be close to where i'm at because those are her too. The woods i think is a little hevier built. Either one would be good, but i would recomend a 5 foot belly mower. Two friends have those and they work great for them. You might be able to run 6' but if the grass gets too long it sure will pull it down.
