Anyone have any experience with or knowledge of a Kemp chipper-shredder. This unit is a PTO driven chipper for up to 3" branches and mulches leaves. It is being offered for sale by a friend who operated it on his 8N for several years.
The problem is, I have learned that Kemp went out of business a few years ago. Reportedly, some company took over their spare parts. Anybody know who???
Thanks in advance for any info.

The company that took over the parts for Kemp Shredder is Green Acre Lawn & Garden, 171 Green Acre Road, Lititz, PA 17543. Phone 717-626-6511, Fax 717-627-3190. I haven't ordered any parts, but that's the address I have. We have a Kemp Shredder in our neighborhood -- four of us share it. It's a good machine, but you have to be careful not to let it run out of gas while shredding -- it'll clog and you have to clean it out.

Yes I have a Kemp chipper-shredder on the back of my Farmall Super "C". I have an after market 3 point hitch to hual it around with. It works quite well, but it seems to be a little slow chipping brush and grinding leaves. The Pillow-block on the front is a little worn and needs replacing. I do not understand why they used a universal bearing in the Pillow-block, seems like they would have been better off with a regular bearing? Perhaps the were not precise enough to hold the tolerances? I hope this is helpful. I do not know who bought them, but would like any info if you find out. Thanks.

Bob
