I have just gotten a Killefer #25 panbreaker serial number 2511 with the subsoiler attachment and large ditching attachment. I was wondering if anyone has any sales literature or serial number information for this implement that they would be willing to share. I would like to learn as much as possible about it. I have pictures that I can email if anyone is interested. I am not too familiar with these since not very many ended up in Indiana.
Thank you

I recently purchased a John Deere Killefer Model 25. The serial # reads 25-12. I currently work at the john deere dealership here in my hometown and am looking for all the info I can get. I'll let you know if I have any. I have pics too if you would like to see them. I bought this thing for $50 which makes a good yard art ornament. It has the ditcher attachment as well.

Louis,
I have just acquired a 25-13 John Deere Killefer Subsoiler. My Dad and Uncle purchased this tool at a local farm sale about 1955. It had been purchased new by the orginal owner. My local dealer is looking through his old books for more information. We found one reference today that said they were made in 1952. If I find any more I will let you know.
