Has any of you had any experience with these tractors? Any thing we ought to know before we consider buying one? Salesman said they made the 50-60 hp. John Deeres now. D.Mosey

I have a 3320 Zetor I bought new in about 1994. I
only put about 25 hours a year on a tractor
plowing snow, hauling wood, and playing around.
It has served me well. It is well built without
all the computer equipment, or automatic shift
that always seems to start causing expensive
problems after a few years. I was totally
impressed with the price. $10,500 for a new 45HP
tractor in 94. I don't suppose the resale value
is too great, but I didn't buy it to resell. I
bought it to use.

Thanks for the input Pete, I'm looking into a 62 hp. 4x4 that has pretty low hours- 1600. Fella is looking to get $10,000 for it. It will be the last tractor I expect to buy. Have had 3 other tractors over the years that we have kept together by baling wire & a prayer. Now it is time to get a machine that will carry us through to the end, so to speak. Since we have other mouths to feed the Zetor was as near to new as one we could land. Other small farmers have given the Zetors a good report, and it seems to be the right choice from what I have heard & seen. Glad to read that you are happy with the one you have. D.Mosey

They are a good tractor and to my knowledge are the only tractor with a bumper to bumper warranty that includes tires.

Zetor does manufacture the JD smaller HP tractors just like they have for years. There is still and embargo against Czec products so JD ships them into America through Argentina, the same way they do with combine headers.

Sure was helpful to get a look at what the company offered. They sure are confident in their stuff. I'm looking at a 62 hp. 4x4 w/1600 hrs. on the clock. Has a cab w/AC & a new loader. Never spent this much $ before and I am thinking real hard about all of it. Figure it will be the last tractor I ever buy and don't care to go wrong while at it. D.Mosey

ZETOR DOES NOT MAKE ANY JOHN DEERES FOR SALE
IN THE UNITED STATES. They did make them for the 3rd world markets. The numbers were the 2000 series. I have seen in a "trader book" that a
dealer in MS had them for sale a couple of years
ago. they are greymarket tractors in the US. As for Zeators. Two of the neighbors have them, and
they are good tractors.
