Watch out for chuckholes. If the little wheels in back should drop into one you can snap a casting. Apart from it being a 7 foot rake instead of a 9 foot rake, that was our only real problem. We had the semi-integral version, it used a hydraulic cylinder and hitched to the drawbar. A 3point version might not have the problem with breaking the rear wheel mount castings. I remember it did ok and was good with a really small tractor---using one with a 100+hp tractor would be kind of funny looking and the tractor would burn more fuel just moving itself that the rake actually required for operation. The 350 rake does NOT command the same level of prices that say a 640 rake does. $200-400 perhaps?

Joe; I've had mine since 1960 and used it every year. Greese it often, it has sleeve bearings. When I got mine, it was a pull type. Couldn't make corners at all. I like it much better after I changed it to three point.

I have one too and it works great. I bought a belt last year from the JD dealer. Other than that, I haven't spent a dime on it. Manuals can be had from JD at 800-522-7448.

I have a 350 that I've had for 10 years It is the only I have it works great and I really like it. Generally one in good shape around here(Va) they bring about $250-$400. Unless you get one for spare parts the only things you'll be able to get not from JD will be teeth, tires and maybe the belt.
