Woods Flail Mower for Farmall Cub

I have a woods Flail Mower for my 47 Farmall Cub and Iam having problems finding what the link for the outside end of the mower that will make it lift evenly. It has the chain hookup for the touch control like the rotarys and the frame that hooks to the draw bar under the tractor but there is a 2x2in piece of metal that has a hole in it on the end on the top of the mower. I have not been able to locate anyone that knows what went there to make it lift evenly? If anyone knows please let me know Thanks

What size flail will the Cub operate..???

I have a 6 1/2' flail on my JD "60", and I have to run in 2nd gear in tall stuff.... I know that our old JD"B" used to run a 2-Row flail Stalk cutter, over 100's of acres in 4th gear--but it didn't dare touch the ground...!! I don't know about your lifting problem, tho.... Sorry....!!
