My Landpride 72" finish mower keeps popping the tires of the rims when cornering. Tires are at proper air pressure. I'm getting tired of stopping and temporarily fixing the problem and am looking for the solution. New tires, rims, or maybe something to fill the tires to make them solid. Any suggestions?

I work at a land pride dealer and I baught a 6 foot mower myself. the tires were foam filled a couple years ago by a company we send them to here in pa. they havn't had any problems since. that is a problem I have seen on finnish mowers. its not always caused by low inflation either. sometimes i think they come off just to ruin your day. just talk to your dealer about having them filled and your troubles are over. ag tire dealers sometimes offer this service too.

i've had mine for 3 years now, and never had the first problem.mow about 7 acres a week. grease well, and make sure the spindels rotate freely.if all is well there. where do you let the tractors arms down to? i only let them down so that the mower arms are in mid travel,no weight from the tractor on anything. could be digging into ground depending upon your tractor.
good luck

40PSI is the recommended pressure. If the vertical shaft the wheel castors on is greased so the wheel castors freely and the tire is at the correct pressure, the tire will remain seated on the rim. The dealership I work at has sold dozens of LP finish mowers, and 99% of all tire troubles are related to low inflation or binding in the shaft.

Put tubes in them and pump them up really hard, it won't hurt them, and it's the only way to keep them from coming off. If it's still a problem, some models of land pride mowers now have hard rubber wheels and I think you could swap them, but I'm not sure what they cost, but definitley have tubes installed and pump up hard.

I had same problem with a 72 inch and an 84 inch mower, just have tubes put in and your troubles are over. They do offer foam filled tires now, but I really don't know much about them. These are the best mowere for the money I've ever saw.
