Has any one had experiance with the King Kutter Rotary Tillers sold by Fleet farm? Are they built in the USA? They are gear driven. Is that better than chain driven?

I do a lot of custom tilling, and i can assure you that gears do not make a "better", stronger tiller. If you spend the $$ to get a "good" tiller, it will have the chain sized and of good quality to take any thing you can throw at it! My Howard still has the same chain and sprockets in it after more than 20 years of comercial use!! Robert

I have used one for 2 years now and I really like it. Only problem I had was after about 2 hours of use I had to tighten the all the bolts that hold the tines, but since then it has been trouble free. We have really rocky soil and it takes a beating.
