NH 55 hay rake

In response to Jerry D. Both hubs are badly worn
( excessive play ). Left hub is missing drive pawl
and right drive pawl fits loosly in its mounting hole. George

Do you have a parts manual? if not then order one from NH. If so then look on the section about the hubs. There are two bushings inside that hub that can be replaced and that fixed mine's wobbling wheels. I think it cost about $20 fo rthe bushing. If the pawl has worn its hole out too big then the pawls are not that expensive and if it has worn the hub pin the se about getting it built back up or what a new one would cost. Sound like you just need a few parts to have this thing ready to run another 50 years.

in them,have all parts books for John Deeres I'm
