What do I have???

I bought a tractor last year that came with what the seller called a "bush hog." It's not something I need, so I'm thinking about selling it -- but having looked it over, I wonder if this accurately describes what it is.

It has a 4' deck with a simple gear box on top. This turns a single shaft that turns a disk that runs parallel to the ground under the deck. Attached to the edge of this disk are two heavy blades that are attached to each side of the disk by only one end of each blade. The end attached to the disk is not rigidly attached but is held with a pin and is free to flex.

(This outfit has a sticker on the side that says "International Machinery Corp.")

Is this properly called a "bush hog" (I know that's a brand name, but is that the TYPE of thing this is?) Or is this a "flail mower" or something else?

I want to be accurate when I run an ad so people don't waste their time on something they don't want.

Thanks very much for your help.

John has it right.

Drop me an email after you have it posted in the want ads. I am looking for something in the 4-5' size to pull behind an AC D10.
Thanks

It is a "rotary cutter" more commonly called a bushhog or brush hog.
