Sold one half-worn out JD 336 with ejector for $2600. Traded in the nicer JD 336 with ejector (dealer allowed $4000). Now I have a brand-spankin' new Hesston 4550 center-line. Decided I no longer want to fight with those fussy ejectors. The hay crop better be a good one this year. . . .

Just in case you weren't aware, that hesston is the same as a Case IH. That little piece of knowledge might come in handy down the road if soemthing breaks and the hesston dealer doesn't have it in stock, your caseIH dealer if you have one near might. We've been looking long and hard at them inline center pickup balers. Really nice machine. I think you will find the bales are all perfect rectangles and that they are all very consistent, making stacking a pretty load easier.

Congrats on the new baler. I wish I could upgrade to a 336.

Tim; Congrats on the new baler. Do you have a thrower on the Hesston ? I bet the inline will take little getting use to. How soon before you get to put the new toy to good use? We usually start the last week in June here. Take care and I hope it is a great season. Roy
