Does anyone know who makes Tractor Supply's implements? I was looking at a few, and they almost seem too reasonable.

Thanks!

They used to carry Howser made in Ohio. I try to buy US made but Howser is junk! I have a 6 foot brush hog that was used very little and is a big boat anchor!

TSC impliments come from several different manufacturers. Like the guys below say, "let the buyer beware," Some are better than others. Look at similar machinery at other vendors, and see if they look like they'll hold up. Shop around. I have several TSC items, and am pretty satisfied with most. You can destroy most any implement if you misuse it too much.

If you look around at their stock, they have two grades of most implements. The heavier ones usually look OK and cost quite a bit more. The lighter ones are for light work. An example is their disc harrow. The light one is about $500 and has an angle frame, the heavy one has a 2" square tubing frame like the good brand name units and costs about $750.

I agree with F14, very light, and that's ok for occasional use, as long as you know that, take care of it and use a light tractor . just don't snag a root or rock. by the looks, iwould say made in south america.

well, if you think like how I think the saying "you get what you paid for" comes to mind. those implements are fine on small tractors and owners who have a small farm.

Dunno who makes them, but I hear they're pretty light weight. Are you going by pictures in a catalog, or puttin' the Mark One Eyeball on 'em at a store?
