I need the part that bolts to the end of the pitman and holds the little ball on the sickle section. Would like to find one for preety cheap but in good shape. The one I have one of the cups has broke off of it and has gotten lost. Thanks Adam Davis

You might want to try your local dealer and see if Herschel Adams makes this part for NI I know they are available for IH from them. T.J.

Try going to Agco, they bought the rights to all the New Idea implement line, and may still be able to get parts. Short of that you can try salvage yards as those parts broke commonly if the wood dind't give like it was supposed to.

I was just using the board for what it is intended for discussion, help, and posting "small" want ads. I am not selling anything so I do not understand what the problem was in posting what I did. I have seen other postings such as this and have posted others just like it in the past and not a sole has questioned me adding any of them to the list. I do not see what I did wrong. This website is setup wonderfully but I have seen a lot of one person hates another persons brand of tractor or maybe even the other person, this is enough to scare off a newcomer. I don't want to make anybody mad, but PLEASE let the people who run this website run it the way they deem necessary. No one has emailed me telling me not to post an email like this so apparently it didn't bother the owners of the website as much as it did you. Thanks you Adam Davis

Adam,

I was going to say something to him untill I seen his handle of Pariah. To me the handle itself was a signal he was just trying to stir things up a but so he could get a laugh at our expense.

My 2 bits worth,

Old Iron
