I have an older Mid-Western/Davis backhoe attatchment that is equiped with a rotary or orbital swing cylinder. The hoe will swing left and right OK but wont hold steady in place and swing away on gravity. The barrel has two hoses for left & right swing and what appears to be a common return line back to valve section. Would check valves installed in these swing hoses stop this problem or cause other flow problems? What possible causes and remedies would be suggested. Any advice would be appreciated.
