I wouldn't say the hydro post driver is over kill
on t-post. I punch ALL my t-post with my shaver
hd-8, & I will tell u honestly it's super fast &
easy, I can punch a t-post 24 inches in the ground less than 50 seconds. But u can't haul off
and slam em you'll either get hurt or bend the post. But if u just tap it yur good to go. I can
run a whole bunch in the ground in no time.

Unless you plan on driving some larger posts the hydraulic 3pt driver would be overkill. I have not seen the air drivers in person but have heard a lot of good things about them even in rocky soils.

Bet most will say the pipe post driver, work some sweat equity. :) I see drivers for wooden posts, but only ever see govt workers use machines to drive steel - everyone else uses their arms.
