Plow and Disk Question

I am headed to an auction this weekend to pick up (hopefully) a plow and disk for my '50 Farmall H. My H has 2 way live hydraulics, a 3 pt. hitch, and runs strong. I will probably be plowing about 2-3 acres at most.

This is my first try at plowing, and I'm wondering what price range the following implements might fetch. Also, any feedback about which of these models might be most appropriate for my needs would be greatly appreciated.

-J.D. 8 ft. pull type disk in A-1 condition
-A.C. 6 ft. pull type disk
-Oliver 2-14 in. plow on rubber
-Pioneer 2 bottom plow
-Oliver 2-12 in. plow on rubber

Thanks in advance-

Krey

For an H, I would look at the Oliver 2-14's on rubber, an H shouldn't have any trouble with these. I would also look at the JD 8 ft disk, an H shouldn't have any trouble with these either. But, you know what they say about auctions- go for what ever is cheap ;-) Any of these would work for your small acreage, so go for what is in the best condition and what is the cheapest!
