George -
I am swamped right now. Will post details later this weekend. Just wanted to let you know I seen your post. I am located in Sanderson, FL. Dead middle on I10 between Jacksonville & Lake City.

If you want to finish up after discing you should use a harrow. You can make lots of passes with a disc but a harrow will take less time. I start with a chisel plow, disc, then harrow. For a real finish I use a rake I made from a large screen, and hundreds of railroad spikes driven through and welded to the screen. Cheap but works. I can even rake the lawn without tearing up the sod.

Actually what I have is called a Harrow according to the label on it. Got it at Tractor Supply 6 1/2' 18" blades. I was told that is what they disc/harrow are called in this neck of the woods.
Tried it out yesterday works great but need to change trans fluid before I get to rambucktious.
Thanks
