Hey out there- Some of you guys got the Massey Ferguson book?... sure would appreciate a 'look-up' on this machine I'm lookin into. The decals all say 500D but I've gotten several replies from ya'll that Massey didn't make a 500D... so here is the serial # - 1010100599 - Several of you have mentioned that parts are scarce, how about filters? The loader runs like a top, and has no leaks in the hydraulic system. Been offered it on a swap for our Case 450.
Our 450 is needing a rebuild and rewire. The ground work on the 450 is about 75% and the ground work on the 500 looks to be about 45% or so. We'll be using it to finish some fenceline work and a dam rebuild. After that we'll let it go. Sure would like to get some more info and advice or opinions. Mike
