Hello all, I have a few questions I hope to get help with. I live in central FL so lots of sand on the 5 acre home site. Bought a 51 8N with bush hog for what grass/weeds I have. I would like to plant some grass and need advise on what to use on soil ie plows disc ect. Don't know the names for all the tools or what they do per say. tried reading the archieves got some info. Any help would be appriciated.

This could also be helpful in getting some new toys for the 8N so the boss can approve.:)

Check your local equipment rental places and see if they have a slit seeder for a tractor. It's kind of a wheat drill for grass seed. It will put the seed in the ground so the birds don't get it, no need for straw.
