I have an IH sickle bar mower that is a trail type. I found this number on the rear frame: 453845 R1 and on the belt pully: M2570. The thing has a rubber tire, is a pitman type. I think it is a model #25 or #27. Anyone know what it is and what the major differences are beteew these model? Thanks

The 25V and 27V were similar. Both were 7' mowers but the 27V was an updated version. I mowed a lot of hay with a 25V back in the 50's.
